Quilling Club Projects for October

Quilling Club - October Meeting

This month, Paula Bauer (artist/designer - Gem State Quilling) offers step-by-step instruction to create a new quilled project. No previous quilling experience required, so it’s a perfect opportunity to try this versatile and historic art form. Learn as you go and have a lovely project at the end of each class. Participants need the following tools for class: needle tool , bent-tip tweezers & the monthly class kit, all available in store. A metal tip glue bottle is recommended but not required.

Class fee: $10 per month plus class kit ($5-$6)
Class limited to 12; sign up early to hold your place.
October meeting: Monday, October 22nd, 6:30 – 8:00

This month we create an assortment of gift tags using simple coils, solid coils, and marquise shapes, plus some really fast and fun designs using the zigzag technique. We'll also learn an unusual card folding technique to be used as a special holiday gift tag or greeting card.

I'm excited to demonstrate how a little quilled motif can add sparkle and pizzaz to simple holiday ornaments, gift bags, candy and more, or be used to create some fast and fun package decorations.

Come join the fun!
