All About Hilary!

Hi everyone! Some of you might know me from the Pullman store, but you can also find me at WSU, where I teach in the English department, or camped out at one of the coffee shops around town with my laptop, pretending to get some writing done but more likely browsing iTunes in search of the perfect motivational song. I'm originally from the Spokane area, and have lived at various times in Seattle, Spokane, London, Cheney, and now Pullman.

Things I love: my high-energy English setters, my orange tabby who thinks he's "one of the dogs," visiting with my family up at Coeur d'Alene lake, watching Top Chef and Project Runway, camping, fly fishing, and making cards to preserve my sanity. The cards also make thoughtful gifts, by the way, for my grandmothers and other friends and family who don't really need more "stuff." One of the things I love about making cards and scrapbooking is that it preserves the tradition of writing.

It's been so much fun to get away from campus a bit and to get to know all of you. Stop by and see me in the Pullman store!

Bet ya didn't know...

If I could have any super hero power, what would I choose?
I don't know if it would be too practical, but I've always though Plasticman was pretty cool!

If I could date any movie star, who would it be? Clive Owen. Or Luke Wilson. Really, whoever calls first.

Coke or Pepsi? Diet or Regular? Diet Coke Plus--just when you thought it couldn't get any better, they added vitamins!

Favorite type of ice cream? Ferdinand's lemon chiffon. It tastes like summer.

Movies I can watch over and over? With a couple exceptions, anything starring Will Ferrell. Christmas Vacation is my family's Thanksgiving night tradition.

What is my favorite scrapbooking line? I still love the My Mind's Eye "Bohemia" line. The colors are great! Ask Shawna about my obsession with bird stamps!

Silly girl...in answering the question about dating a movie star, you're overlooking the other Wilson...Owen...yow! Luke pales compared to Owen's oddly crooked face and surfer dude goofy delivery...however, I guess we won't have to "fight" over brothers...lol...and we can have a joint wedding...that is, when they call...lol...lol...lol...
